The Erebus Enigma
There is one place on earth where extreme cold and extreme heat clash: Mount Erebus in the Antarctica. This is the only volcano in the world with an explosive lava lake. Whenever this lake explodes, lava bombs are thrown over the rim of the crater.
There is one man on earth who can unravel the mysterious eruption of the lava lake: Clive Oppenheimer. The British volcanologist has a dangerous lifelong dream: he wants to measure the temperature of the lava in the lake and he has a crazy idea on how to do so.
